Whose Waves These Are

My Rating: 5 Stars
Let me start this review by saying there is no way I can do this book justice. It is THAT good. Amanda wove an amazing tale and her writing voice is one of the best I have ever read. This tale of love, loss, hope and redemption will stay with me forever. I honestly can't remember being this moved by a book in a long time. I was brought to tears more than once and one chapter in particular (I am looking at you chapter 31!) was lovely the way Amanda brought certain elements together. This is going straight to my keeper shelf and to the top of my favorite reads list. This book is not to be missed!

Justice Delivered

My Rating: 5 Stars

I devoured this book! The 4th in the Memphis Cold Case Series was exciting and thrilling and I could not out it down! With human tracking as the main plot point, this book is compelling and you can't help but fall in love with the characters as they try to catch the evil men behind the crimes. I had been eagerly anticipating this book since reading the rest of the series last summer, and I am happy that it did not disappoint. This along with book 2 of the set are my favorites in the series. If you love an exciting suspenseful Christian Fiction read, the do not miss this book!

The Body In The Wetlands

My Rating: 3.5 Stars

Overall I would give this book 3.5 stars. As far as the mystery part of this book that gets a solid  4 stars. It kept me guessing between a few different suspects and the mystery flowed well. I would give the rest of the book 3 stars. It’s a little heavy for my tastes on the bedroom innuendos and observations of the opposite sex as well as the drinking, which detracted from my enjoyment of the book overall. I do look forward to the next book because the mysteries are good and I like the characters.

Deadly Vows

My Rating: 5 StarsThis new cozy series has truly become one of my favorite cozy series! I love the town and the characters and their family feel. This 2nd book in the series was charming and I could not put it down. With the wedding of the century coming up Britton Bay (according to the bride’s mother!) what happens when the caterer who nobody liked winds up dead? Molly’s on the case to figure it out! The mystery was excellent and kept me guessing and the romance between Molly and Sam is adorable. I am looking forward to many more trips to Britton Bay with Molly and the gang.

Mother's Day Mayhem

My Rating: 5 Stars
I LOVE my trips to South Cove! I always feel like I am visiting friends and this trip was a fun one! No murder this go around but Jill is on the case of a friend's relationship with his absent but now reappeared mother. I really wasn't sure how this mystery would play out and it definitely kept me guessing. This short story does leave me with questions that were raised in this book about Jill's past, and I am hoping for the answers to those questions in the next visit to South Cove. Very enjoyable read!

Ladies Of Intrigue

My Rating: 5 Stars

Ladies of Intrigue is an excellent collection of stories by Michelle Griep. I thoroughly enjoyed these three stories with mystery, danger and romance all rolled into one. It is a quick an easy read as each story is 90 or so pages and with great characters and intriguing plots, the book is hard to put down once you start it(at least it was for me!). These stories aren’t brand new as each was published before in previous Barbour novella collections but they were new to me and I loved each one of them.

Driftwood Bay

My Rating: 5 + stars(Yes, it’s THAT good!!)

Wow, just WOW!!! I don’t have enough words to describe how much I love and adore this book. It was utterly charming in ALL the ways. There are several characters that I fell in love with which makes it  impossible for me to pick a favorite character. I just want to hug all of them!! The story was a beautiful tale of hope after tragedy and learning how to live again...as Molly says in the book, “Love is better than lonesome.” How right she is! But how hard to leave the fear behind..This book does as superb job of showing  characters choosing love over loneliness. I adored this book and I will read it again and again..this will easily be on my best 2019 reads!!
