Amazing Book!!

Wow! This book was amazing and will be one of my forever favorites. To take a character like Georgina who was an absolute spoiled brat in the first two stories and turn her in to a character I now adore is quite a feat that Kristi Ann Hunter managed to pull off. When we learn Georgina's backstory she becomes one of the most interesting and likeable characters I have encountered in all my years of reading. The humor in this book was fantastic and kept me laughing throughout and I loved the sparing between Colin and Georgina. There are not enough words for me to describe how much I loved this story. It will definitely be one of my favorite reads this year, no question.

This is Chrissy Metz

This was a great read. I LOVE "This Is Us" and so of course I had to read Chrissy's book. Wow, she has been through some stuff, but she has come out strong and brave and now has the life she wants. This book is challenging, funny, sad and inspiring. Well worth the read and a quick and easy read at that.

Notes From A Blue Bike

This was an interesting read(listen). I listened to the audiobook version this non fiction book read by the author while traveling and it managed to keep my attention and keep me entertained enough to keep listening. It's a memoir of sorts with a bit of tips and advice for how to live your life more simply in the chaos that this world has become. The chapters end a bit abruptly which took some getting accustomed to in the listening of it for me. I don't think her lifestyle choices are as easy to adapt to for most of us so it wasn't completely relatable for me but it I still enjoyed the listening of it.

Hawthorne House 0.5 & 1....a new favorite series!

This was the most adorable story! I adored the characters of Amelia and Anthony and the servants and the way they loved and looked after Amelia. The story had great humor and some wonderful nuggets of truth. Safe to say another author has joined my ranks of favorite authors.

This book was so entertaining! I loved the characters of Miranda and Ryland and the mystery and intrigue set in Regency England in the early 1800s. It had multiple scenes where I laughed so very hard. Kristi's humor reminds me of one of my other favorite authors Jen Turano. If Jen is a favorite of yours, do yourself a favor and check out Kristi's books as well. I can not wait to devour the rest of the series. It promises to be just as entertaining!

Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lies About Who You Are so You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be

This was an interesting read. Rachel has a lot of good advice for women, a lot of funny stories about her life, some heartbreaking stories from her life and she keeps it real throughout the book. She has a lot of great insights and some honest truths about what we face as women and mamas in the thick of daily life and it's well worth the read!

A Date With Murder

Murder She Wrote novels have become one of my favorite series. They are entertaining, great mysteries that have the feel of comfort that's hard to explain. The best way to describe it is that they feel like a warm flannel blanket at grandma's house. Familiar, soothing and comforting like a broke in soft sweat shirt. This is the newest offering in the series and it was one that kept me guessing throughout. It introduced some new characters and I really liked the character of Chad, a young man Jessica joins forces with to help her solve the case. The element of computer dating and the world of hacking was an interesting plot point to the series and it was interesting to see Jessica have to deal with all that entails as that is clearly not in her wheelhouse. Another great Murder, She Wrote story!

I have almost gotten caught up with the series, (I have 2 early MSW's left to read) before I will be left waiting for each new release. After spending the last year and a half reading through them all, I don't know what I'll do when I am fully caught up and have to wait months for a new one.

Super Cute Story!!

This was a super cute read! It put me in a mind of one of my all-time favorite movies Sabrina. It has a similar storyline which made Millie and John's story irresistible to me. The ending was phenomenal and had one of the best scenes I have read lately and  the way some of the other ends were tied up was perfect. This book has great characters, humorous scenes and I adored it. Definitely one for my keeper shelf!

I received this book through Net Galley, and was not required to give a positive review.

First Love Forever

This was a pretty cute set of stories. I liked the premise of revisiting and rekindling first loves.
My favorite stories included "First Things First" by Susanne Dietze, "After The Ball" by Martha Rogers and "Lighter Than Air" by Lorna Seilstad. All in all, the stories were short, sweet and entertaining. All the stories are set in historical times and most if not all are companions to other books. So if you find one you really like, I'd investigate to see if there are more stories connected to it.

I've Fallen for "Falling For You"

Falling For You
by Becky Wade

This book was amazing as usual. I wouldn't expect anything less from Becky. It's a no-brainer that I will love each book she writes, and this one was no different. Becky introduced a bit of a new element to this book, a decades old mystery of a missing young woman that the two main characters Willow & Corbin join forces to solve to help Corbin's young cousin. Despite their history together(a bad breakup 4 years before) Willow agrees to help Charlotte and Corbin find Charlotte's long missing great aunt. This was such a cool plot and I desperately wanted to see how it ended throughout the whole book. I did try to savor it as much as possible though because we only get one new Becky book a year and I definitely didn't want to buzz through it(although a part of me did!). I loved the characters of Willow and Corbin and seeing their growth through the book. It was wonderful to see Corbin again, after meeting him in the last Porter Family book, "Her One & Only." Charlotte was adorable and I enjoyed getting to see Nora and Britt again. I am so looking forward to Britt's story next spring. Can't wait!!

I've included a couple of meme's I made from the book. One made me laugh and the other is a truth takeaway from the book and an excellent reminder of how much God loves and forgives us.

I received this book from the author and publisher and wasn't required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own.
